Anyone seeing this new product by JVC for the first time is going to say "Its a GoPro," and rightfully so, GoPro set the standard. However, for the first time it seems, that they're getting a strong challenger. From who you ask? JVC, that's right, JVC. They just released their GC-XAI ADIXXION; I do not know if there is any pronunciation there, but this camera looks pretty cool.
Waterproof to 15' and drop-proof from 6' the new JVC model is rubberized and sealed from dust and dirt. Unlike the Go Pro it has a 1.5" monitor in which you can see your frame of reference. It shoots in Full HD (1920p x 1080p) at 30 frames per second.
This camera also has built in WiFi and can support syncing with an android phone to further choreograph the shot. The camera is expected on the market by August 25th at a price of $350
